All You Can Eat MEATS!!! @ Fogo de Chão Brazilian

$56.00 per person! (for lunch, dinnertime is more!)

What can I say except MEAT IS DELICIOUS!  So a bunch of us went to Fogo De Chao for lunch as they have an advertised $35 all you can eat special.  However the price escalated quickly when we were offered "water".  We should have suspected something amiss when asked if we wanted non-bubbly or bubbly, which meant we were paying $7.50 per bottle of "fancy" italian water.  On the final bill were 12 bottles as everyone but two of us had "water" and were thinking they were saving money by only drinking water.  But who knows maybe this is how we solve California's water problem!

Despite the misunderstanding with the water, I can't recommend this chain of restaurants enough, having been to both San Jose, CA and Las Vegas, NV branches.  Yep its a chain!  A delicious meaty chain!  Essentially upon arriving you sit down and can visit a very posh salad bar (if you are crazy) filled with prosciutto, parmesan wheels, asparagus, etc.

However the real deal starts when you flip your little coaster/coin from "No Thank You" to "Yes Please" and then all havoc breaks loose as gaucho upon gaucho drops by with swords of delicious meats, meats wrapped in other meats, meats of all sizes and shapes,  all dripping with tasty juices and caramelized exteriors created by direct FLAME!  Its sooooo good! (you can click on the pics to enlarge them! This is about only 1/2 of what I ate... So Full!)

2am Chili - How To Make Chili "Like A Boss"

Over on the reddit  user tylercap  posted his recipe for Chili, "Like A Boss" that he likes to make at 2am between sessions of Black Ops.  However unlike the traditional listing of ingredients in a 3x5 index card format or video of the process tylercap decided to post pics along with some stick figures showing the process.  Also if you're unfamiliar with the meme "Like a Boss" check out the bottom of the post for the youtube clip from Andy Samberg of SNL and thelonlyisland . nsfw language and imagery for both chili and "like a boss" video after the jump.

POPUP SHOP - Modo Mochi Donut @ Mitsuwa Marketplace in San Jose

$20 for a dozen!!! (other food, and tax/tip not included) People have lost their damn minds once again in the "craze" of these Hawaiian Mochi Donuts!  We arrived after lunch at the Mitsuwa Marketplace in San Jose off Saratoga Ave.  The line was out the door! My friends got in line, I went in to scope out how long it would be.   I passed the automatic doors and saw the line twisted to and fro, back and forth, amongst various food stands and displays.  I inquired the length of time people were waiting, 2-3 hrs was the wait time.   OMG! No frick'n way!!!   No pastry was worth that wait!Luckily, my friend came in to see the line size and saw their sister in law and was able to snag a few to share with us! Thanks CHAN!  The max you could get for one person was a dozen for $20.    Now don't get me wrong, the donuts were very tasty and had that slight chewiness of fresh pastries combined with mochi, but they weren't mind blowing crazy go
